Discovered in 1967, this, the blue variety of the mineral zoisite, is known for its intense trichroism (displaying blue, violet, and brown) and is often heat-treated to enhance its signature deep blue and violet hues.

Primarily discovered in Namibia in the 1990s, these garnets are cherished for their bright, pure orange tones, often requiring no treatment. They are durable for jewellery with a hardness of 7.5 on the Mohs scale.
